C 1880's fancy antique box trunk. Recovered in blue canvas with tan leather binding and matching side handles. The trunk has center and top accent strips of brass and has been refit with new natural finish maple slats which are tipped in brass. All original cast metal hardware and the antique trunk hardware includes the original and very ornate EAGLE lock.
