Recovered in blue duck cloth, this 1880's antique chest has all original hardware, oak slats, vegetable tanned leather binding and a pair of steel drop-down handles. All original antique trunk hardware including; solid brass hasp lock, leather lid lift and cast metal draw bolts. Twin front and lid bands of brass sheeting. Clean and fresh interior sealed with a polystain mixture finish. Medium sized to work well within large and small environments.
